The congress organized by the Asociación Científica de Economía y Dirección de la Empresa (ACEDE) has as its objective the creation of a space for reflection about the social and economic changes which affect business management. In addition, this will be a meeting where scientific ideas can be exchanged and specialists and professionals involved in the areas of business management can disseminate the results of their research.
The XXX ACEDE Conference will take place online, during 28th-30th June, 2021 from Cartagena (Spain), under the motto, “Organizations 4.0: Sustainability and Knowledge”. It is widely recognized that organizations and their members must adapt in order to optimize their results.
With this idea in mind, the ACEDE Congress will address the broadened development of new systems of management networks in organizations facing the challenge of Industry 4.0. These organizations must combine environmental protection with the management of new knowledge as a way of ensuring growth and achieving new goals as well as responding to competition from other countries.
Thomas Choi, Ph.D.
Thomas Choi is Professor of Supply Chain Management at W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. He leads the study of the upstream side of supply chains, where a buying company interfaces with many suppliers organized in various forms of networks.
Claudio Giachetti
Associate Professor of Strategy in the Department of Management at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (Italy), where he also received his Ph.D. in Business Economics. He was visiting researcher at the University of Zaragoza (Spain) and at Cass Business School in London (UK).
Dmitry Ivanov
Professor for Supply Chain and Operations Management in the Department of Business and Economics, deputy director and executive board member of Institute for Logistics at Berlin School of Economics and Law, Germany.
Josefa Mula Bru
Professor in the Department of Business Management of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Spain. She is a member of the Research Centre on Production Management and Engineering (CIGIP) of the UPV.
